Vin Diesel honors late Paul Walker

Movie actor Vin Diesel has choked up while honoring his late friend and colleague Paul Walker at the 2017 CinemaCon.

Diesel paid tribute to Walker who co-starred with him in the popular ‘The Fast and the Furious’ movie franchise on Wednesday March 30 at the CinemaCon venue.

The American actor told the media that he decided to go forward with ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise to fulfill a promise Walker made that there would be an eighth chapter in the long-running series.

The eight chapter of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ titled ‘The Fate of the Furious’ and directed by F. Gary Gray opens next month.

“Part of Paul’s legacy lives through every frame that we shoot,” Diesel said. Diesel, who has called Walker his best friend, said the actor continues to live through the characters.
